Alaska Dungeness Crab Fruit Salad


Honey dressing[edit]


  1. Left off back shell of crab.
  2. Remove and discard viscera and gills.
  3. Rinse crab thoroughly under cool, running water.
  4. Break off legs; crack along edges.
  5. Cut into serving-sized pieces.
  6. Break body section into several pieces.
  7. Micro-cook or steam until thoroughly heated; cool.
  8. Remove meat from body.
  9. Combine crab meat from body with fruit.
  10. Honey dressing: combine all ingredients.
  11. Arrange fruit mixture and cracked crab legs on lettuce-lined platter.
