Artichoke Quiche Appetizer

Purchased from the Inman Estate in Mineral Wells, Texas in 1990. Dated 1942. I made this for a wedding shower I catered and it is OK, not great but 8 people asked me for the recipe, so somebody is seeing something I’m not.

Procedures[edit]

  1. Drain artichokes, cut in quarters.
  2. Beat eggs then add cream cheese, cottage cheese and buttermilk.
  3. Add grated cheese.
  4. Stir in seasonings and crumbled bacon.
  5. Place artichokes in bottom of pie shell; pour cheese mixture over artichokes.
