Makes 6 servings.
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 to 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- 3 cups cooked rice
- Melt butter; stir in curry powder and pepper.
- Add celery, apples and almonds; cook until tender crisp.
- Stir in rice and heat thoroughly.
