Topping[edit]

  1. In medium skillet, melt butter, stir in sugar.
  2. Add peaches; simmer 3 – 4 minutes, until peaches are just tender.
  3. Stir in schnapps.
  4. Simmer 1 minute.

Sandwich[edit]

  1. Prepare each sandwich using 2 slices bread, 1 slice ham and 1 slice cheese.
  2. In medium bowl, beat eggs with schnapps, milk and salt.
  3. Soak each sandwich in egg mixture until bread is saturated.
  4. In large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter; sauté sandwiches over medium heat about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  5. Remove to heated platter.
  6. Melt remaining butter and repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  7. Serve with prepared topping.
