Procedures[edit]

  1. cream shortening; add Sugar gradually, cream until fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  3. Add mango pulp and beat well.
  4. Sift together dry ingredients.
  5. Add alternately with milk.
  6. Add vanilla and blend.
  7. Add nuts, turn into a 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" pan or two 8" layer pans greased and floured.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 25–35 minutes.
  9. Glaze with juice of 1 lime/lemon and 1/2 c. confectioners Sugar.
