Plums in Wine

This is a great way to use your plums when there are lots of them around.



  1. Bring wine, sugar, lemon and orange slices to the boil.
  2. Wash the plum thoroughly and add to the syrup.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes and leave to cool in the syrup for a few hours.
  4. Serve with whipped cream or crème fraîche.
