- 1 c Hot Strong Tea
- 1/2 c Chopped dates
- 1/2 c Chopped Mixed Peel
- 1 c Washed Raisins
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 egg, Beaten
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 ts baking powder
- 1/4 ts Soda
- 1/4 ts salt
Pour Tea Over Fruit And sugar And Let Stand
Over-Night. Next Morning Stir in egg, Then flour,baking powder, Soda And salt Sifted Together. TurnInto Greased Loaf Pan And Bake For 1 1/2 Hours At
- 300f. Turn Onto Wire Rack to Cool. to Serve, SliceAnd butter.
