- 1/2 c figs
- 1/2 c Raisins
- 2 tb shortening
- 1 c Honey
- 1 ea egg
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1 ts baking powder
- 1/2 ts baking soda
- 3/4 c Sweet milk
- 1/4 c sour milk
- 1 c Nuts
Cut Raisins And figs in Small Pieces. Cream shortening And HoneyWell, Add Beaten egg. Sift Dry Ingredients Together. Reserve a LittleTo flour Fruits And Nuts. Add Alternately With milk, Add Nuts AndFruit. Bake in Moderate Oven 325 F. 1 Hour And 10 Minutes.
