Bisquick Cheese Bread

Description

My mother used to bake this and now I bake it for my family.

• Cook Time: 60 minutes baking time
• Serves: 12 to 16

Ingredients

• 1 large egg
• 1½ cups milk
• 3¾ cups Bisquick baking mix
• 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
2. Spray a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Beat egg on low speed of mixer.
4. Add remaining ingredients and beat ½ minute medium speed until blended.
5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
6. Bake about 1 hour or until golden brown.
7. Cool on wire baking rack.
8. Serve slightly warm with lots of fresh, sweet butter.
