Description

Guinness Cake is very popular during St. Patrick's Day. It's also quick and easy to make. Guinness Cake is best eaten after a week of it being sealed in an airtight container.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. Combine Guinness and butter in a large bowl.
  3. Hold bowl over medium heat.
  4. Add sugar and cocoa and blend.
  5. In another bowl, mix sour cream, vanilla extract and eggs.
  6. Add this to the Guinness mix.
  7. Add baking soda and flour.
  8. Whisk well.
  9. Pour mixture in a large cake pan.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes.
