Cajun Pork Chops

This is a family favorite we make over and over again. Although it's extremely flavorful, it is quite lean.

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Sprinkle chops liberally with cajun seasoning.
  2. Spray pan with vegetable oil, or use a small amount of oil.
  3. Brown the chops on both sides.
  4. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add onion, pepper, celery and garlic to the pan and saute until tender.
  6. Add the pork chops back to the pan with the vegetables, add the brown gravy.
  7. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  8. Serve over hot cooked rice.
