Description
Ingredients
- 1 Beef filet (2-4 lb.)
- 6 strips Bacon
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 med. Onion, sliced
- 1 lime, split in half
- pepper
- seasoned salt
Procedures
- Rinse the filet with cool water. Rub with lime halves. Split the filet down the middle, going the entire length of the filet. Be careful to split it open and not cut it into two pieces.
- Lay the filet open on counter. Place the onions, minced garlic and 3 strips of Bacon along the entire length. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Fold the filet back the way it was before splitting. Wrap the filet with the remaining strips of Bacon, using toothpicks if necessary to keep in place. Let the filet marinade like this for 2 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
