Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Preheat oven to moderate (375°F).
  2. Line jelly-roll pan with aluminum foil.
  3. Saute onion in oil in large skillet over medium heat 3 minutes.
  4. Add red pepper, garlic, basil, and thyme, saute 5 minutes.
  5. Combine beef, pork, oats, egg, whites, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, optional salt, and pepper in large bowl.
  6. Add vegetable mixture.
  7. Shape into large oval on prepared pan.
  8. Bake in moderate oven (375°F) for 30 minutes.
  9. Brush loaf with catsup.
  10. Bake 25 minutes or until cooked through.
  11. Let stand 10 minute before slicing.
