Description
A refreshing beverage that is popular in Ayurvedic treatment for eliminating toxins and ama if taken regularly. You may use fresh gingerroot (adrak) or dried ginger (saunth), I prefer fresh.
Ingredients
- One or more cups of water
- 2 or 3 Slices of ginger
- 1 tsp. Of lemon juice (optional)
- 1 tsp. Of honey (optional)
Procedures
- Place water in pot with ginger slices and bring to a boil.
- It will start to fizz, turn down heat.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes. until dark yellow.
- Add optional ingredients if you like.
