German-style Pasta

Cabbage and pasta lovers unite for this simple sweet-and-sour side dish.

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook cabbage in oil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar and caraway seed.
  5. Cover and cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.
  6. Stir pasta into cabbage mixture; heat until hot.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
