Arakas
Fresh green peas in tomato sauce
Ingredients
1 kg
peas
250 g
tomatoes
, finely sliced
1 large
onion
, thinly sliced
150 ml
water
salt
150 ml
olive oil
6 teaspoons fresh
dill
, chopped
Directions
Shell the
peas
, if needed.
Rinse them in cold
water
and drain.
Sauté the
onions
in the
olive oil
.
Add the
tomatoes
,
peas
,
salt
and the dill.
Add the
water
and bring to a boil.
Stir, cover and cook slowly for about 50 minutes.
