Arequipe
Ingredients
- 3 quarts milk
- 2 lbs sugar
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- cinnamon stick
- pinch of salt
- 2 egg yolks
Directions
- Combine milk, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon stick, and salt and simmer.
- Stir constantly 4–5 hours.
- Add the egg yolks and let cook 2-3 minutes longer.
- Remove the cinnamon stick.
- Let cool.
