Description

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marlin Estate in Caddo Mills, Texas in 1995.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups baking mix
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup candied cherries
  • ¾ cup nuts

Procedures

  1. Flour 2 loaf pans.
  2. Combine baking mix, sugar, flour, cinnamon, egg and milk together until well blended.
  3. Stir in cherries then pour into loaf pans and bake 45 minutes at 350°F.
  4. Cool completely before removing.
