Description

Apple pie [1][2] a tasty way to eat warm apples.

Ingredients

  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell and pastry top
  • 5 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 one lemon grated rind
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cubed butter

Procedures

Combine; apples, sugar, cardamom, lemon rind and vanilla, then gently stir. Put into unbaked pie crust, top with cubes of butter evenly distributed then cover with the pie top. Place into a 425 degree F oven for ~40 minutes, or until golden brown.
