- 2 1/2 Cups flour
- 1/2 Tsp baking powder
- 1/8 Tsp salt
- 1 Cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 Cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tsp rum or almond extract
- 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
- 24 Red And Green glace cherries, Halved
Heat Oven to 350 Degrees. in a Bowl, Whisk flour, baking powder And salt. Set Aside. in 2nd Bowl, Beat butter And sugar Until Creamy. Beat in eggs And extracts. Beat in Dry Ingredients Until Combined. Place Dough in a Pastry Bag Fitted With a Large Star Tip. Pipe Stars Onto Ungreased Baking Sheets. Place a glace cherry Half on The Top of Each. Refrigerate Baking Sheets For 30 minutes. Bake 12 minutes. or Until Edges Just Start to Brown. Remove Cookies From Baking Sheets. Cool. Repeat With Remaining Dough. Makes 4 Dozen Cookies.*
