Italian Cookies
- 2 C. sugar
- 2 Sticks Melted butter
- 15 Oz. ricotta cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tsp. vanilla
- 4 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tsp. salt
- 1 Tsp. baking soda
Mix sugar, butter, Ricotta, eggs And vanilla Until Combined. in aSeparate Bowl Combine flour, salt And baking soda. Gradually AddFlour Mixture to Ricotta Mixture Until Combined. flour Hands And RollSmall Balls of Dough Like Meatballs (the Dough Will be Very Moist).
Place Dough Balls 2 Inches Apart on Ungreased Baking Sheet. Bake at
- 350 Degrees For 10 to 15 Minutes Until Edges Are Slightly Brown. TopsWill Not be Brown. ice With Icing And Top With Sprinkles While Warm.
(icing: 1 Cup Confectioners' sugar And 2 Tablespoons of milk - AddMore milk For Thin Icing.) Store in an Air-Tight Container When Cool.
