  2. Bring to boiling.
  3. Stir in mushrooms, brown rice, carrot, marjoram, and dash pepper.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 12 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Add green onion and parsley; toss lightly with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately.
