Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Leake Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1982. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]
Ingredients
- 7 sticks butter
- 2½ cups sugar
- 6½ cups flour
- 1¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl cream butter with mixer until light then add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy.
- Slowly add flour,vanilla and salt mixing to blend thoroughly then drop by tablespoons onto well greased cookie sheets and bake for 8 minutes at 350°F.
