Giant Oatmeal Cookies

• Makes 15 cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cuplight brown sugar
• ⅓ cup sweetened applesauce
• 1 large egg
• 2 tbs butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1½ cups old fashioned oats
• ½ cup raisins
• ½ cup toasted walnuts, finely chopped

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350°F degrees.
2. Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
3. Beat next 6 ingredients in a 2nd bowl.
4. Beat in flour mixture until blended.
5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
6. Drop mounds of dough on a greased baking sheet, flatten slightly.
7. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
8. Cool on sheet.
