Pastina is unique in the sense that, this tiny star shaped pasta used for soups and broths, being attractive, helps little children to get used to pasta.

Italian for tiny dough. In cooking, this term refers to any of various tiny pasta shapes (such as Acini De Pepe), generally used in soups.
