Description

This is a quick, flavorful sauce everybody can enjoy on eggs and meat. Makes 2 cups.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fry onion and peppers in oil until onion is clear and pepper is spotted with brown.
  2. Add tomatoes, salt, sugar, and vinegar.
  3. Bring to boiling, turn down to simmer.
  4. Cover and cook at least 20 minutes to blend the flavors.
  5. Thicken just before serving with cornstarch dissolved in a little water.
