Calzone is a popular Italian form of pizza. The word means sock because the resulting pizza looks similar to a sock.

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine first 4 (or 3) ingredients.
  3. Roll the pizza dough between 2 pieces of waxed paper.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the center.
  5. Moisten edges of dough slightly.
  6. Fold the dough over.
  7. Seal edges by pressing with a fork.
  8. Bake until golden brown, about 10 or 12 minutes.
  9. Serve with marinara sauce.
