Description
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup oatmeal (not quick cooking)
- 1/2 cup bulgur wheat
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Procedures
- Preheat oven to 375 degree. Simmer water and brown rice for about 20 minutes and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients to rice. butter 2 1/2 quart ovenproof dish.
