It started out promising. I was able to  select the perfect glass pieces and was able to fit  every little thing together so it was  just a matter of putting it together. The first thing that  failed was that I used silver soldering wire at first. This caused everything to look a little off and the metal did not all match. I figured it would not matter  because I would put copper all over it so I continued. Then it got too hot and the glass  started  breaking. I took a break at this point to not get  annoyed. I was so  astounded that I was having such a difficult time.
If you're making your own card always check you have an envelope which will fit the size your are planing to produce. Finding white or colored covers the size you need might not be as simple or as cheap as you might think. There's nothing worse than building a wonderful card to find the only envelope you can find that it'll easily fit into is brown.

When I  returned to it I  attempted using a  various  kind of solder liquid flux. The solder was still breaking the glass and after I had  torn through half of my glass I  determined it was time to get creative. When utilizing ink patches, ink pens and stick you're planning to need to be just a little careful. Some inks dry faster than others,if you work with a with wet ink on it you are more likely to inadvertently smear you beautiful work, move on to a new card and go back to it later to put the finishing touches in.

As you think It's never as bad.

Keep in mind that your cards are made by hand, they are maybe not allowed to be ideal. The time and effort involved with making a hand made card gives meaning to them. It's so much better for a made by hand card.

Keep it simple.

Basic cards are just as powerful. Don't feel you have to create difficult cards.

Try not to combine stickers with stamps.

When utilizing stickers to produce cards be cautious about adding printer press art to the card, because the two together don't always complement one another.

Use colors that contrast with their backgrounds to allow them to be seen.

When coming up with cards it sometimes looks better if you place your picture, label or stamp on a cut right out shape of coloured card that contrasts and compliments your picture. Like if you are using a dark blue back ground a blue or pale yellow card form stuck on the leading along with your design on may set off the picture and ensure it is look more interesting.

Other peoples tastes differ to your personal.

If you design a card and you're not sure if it looks very right, or you think that others won't like it, do not fear, there's always somebody out there who it'll attract. Place the card to 1 side, you are able to always ask someone's else's belief or get back to it and change it at a later date. [http://bisermarket.com/ advertisers]
