Turkey bacon is an alternative to traditional streaky bacon that is made of turkey. While turkey bacon can be used in place of regular bacon in some dishes, it can also be used in recipes that require the higher fat content of pork bacon. Because it contains less fat than pork bacon, turkey bacon shrinks less when cooked.
