About ground turkey
A product consisting of ground white or dark turkey meat, or a combination of both. It contains approximately 65 to 75 percent less fat than ground beef. It can be used to make sausages and patties and can be used as a substitute for ground beef in any recipe calling for ground beef. Ground turkey is available fresh or frozen, in patties, 1 pound packages, and in bulk.
