Basic French Dressing

Description
Served at Scandia Restaurant

- Makes 1¾ cups.

Ingredients
- 1 cup oil
- ¼ cup wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp water
- 2½ tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp dry mustard
- ½ tsp MSG (optional)
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 2½ tbsp salt
- 1¼ tbsp Worcestershire
- 1¼ tbsp Hungarian paprika
- 1 tbsp grated onion
Directions
- Mix oil,vinegar and water.
- Beat until mixed.
- Add sugar,mustard, MSG, pepper, salt, Worcestershire and paprika and beat until mixed.
- Add onion and beat well.
Blue Cheese Dressing Variation
Add 2 oz crumbled blue cheese to prepared Basic French Dressing.
