A small fork used to serve or retrieve condiments from jars, trays or bowls. The fork is typically short in length and very slender, allowing it to be used for small items such as pickles, olives, cheeses, or other similar foods. This type of kitchen utensil may also be referred to as a Pick or a Seafood Pick, which may be used for picking up, dipping and eating various seafoods, as occurs when eating shrimp or taking meat out of lobster claws.
