Salad dressings are condiments used on salad. This is a basic recipe for Balsamic Vinaigrette:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (preferably aged and/or Italian)
  • 1 cup Italian olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Few grinds black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic (optional)

Procedure

  1. Mix with a wire whisk until well combined.
