Ice Box Cookies

Ingredients
- ¾ cup Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup nut meats, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- colored sugar
Procedures
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Beat eggs, sugar and Crisco. Add remaining ingredients.
- Roll dough and form 2" rolls.
- Roll in colored sugar.
- Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate for several hours.
- Slice and bake on greased cookie sheet for 12 – 15 minutes.
