Plain Cookies I

Ingredients

• ½ cupful butter
• 1½ cupfuls sugar
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 cupful water
• 1 teaspoonful grated nutmeg
• 1 cupful flour sifted
• 1 teaspoonful baking powder

Directions

1. Mix ingredients together.
2. Roll out, cut into cookies, and bake pale brown in moderate oven.
