Ginger Drops
Ingredients
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ⅔ cup butter
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 egg
- ⅔ cup molasses
- 1 large tablespoon ginger
- 1 large teaspoon baking soda
- enough Gold Medal flour to make thick batter
Procedures
- Mix all ingredients together, adjusting the amount of flour to make a thick batter.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on a well greased pan, bake in moderate oven.
- These are very nice if properly made.
