Grain Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked medium brown rice
- ⅓ cup chopped green pepper
- ⅓ cup chopped onion
- ⅓ cup chopped celery
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- ⅓ cup cornmeal
- ⅓ cup oatmeal
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- seasonings to taste
For cooking
- 2 tbsp whole grain flour
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Procedures
- Combine first nine ingredients and season to taste.
- Mold into patties.
- Dust with flour and wheat germ mixture.
- In hot skillet brown in oil until brown on both sides.
