Ingredients

Pine nuts

Procedures

  1. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and milk.
  2. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, combine beans, sour cream, the 3 tablespoons pine nuts, seasoning blend, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Cover and blend or process until nearly smooth.
  5. Add bread crumb mixture.
  6. Cover and blend or process until smooth.
  7. Stir in snipped or dried oregano or basil.
  8. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours to blend flavors.
  9. If desired, sprinkle with additional pine nuts and garnish with basil or oregano leaves.
  10. Serve with assorted vegetable dippers.
