In Romanian: Glazura de zahar



  1. Boil the sugar with 1 cup of water until the syrup thickens and sticks to the spoon.
  2. Add a few drops of lemon juice.
  3. When the mixture is warm, beat as for sherbets, without letting it harden.
  4. When still soft, cover the cake with it.
  5. You can color this icing with food coloring.
