Cooked Asian pears with peppercorns
- Peel and core the pears.
- Cut into quarters, round the edges.
- Stick in 2-3 peppercorns on the outer side.
- Combine water, sugar and pear in a sauce pan, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cook for 5 minutes.
- Let cook, put in a fridge.
- Serve in a small bowl with 2-3 pears and some pine nuts on top.
