Bananas with Praline Sauce
Description
This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hager estate in Canton, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- 4 bananas halved lengthwise and crosswise
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Procedures
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter in skillet then sauté bananas on each side.
- Place into dessert dishes.
- Melt remaining butter in skillet then add brown sugar, cream and cardamom and cook stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Top bananas with ice cream and spoon on sauce.
