Barbecue Rice Platter
Description
Serve with barbecued chicken breast, sliced pork or beef. Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup chopped onion
- 3 cups cooked rice
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup sliced green onion tops
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
Procedures
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until translucent.
- Add rice, barbecue sauce, green onion tops, cilantro, garlic powder and liquid smoke.
- Cook until thoroughly heated.
