Beer-battered Fried Avocado Wedges

  1. To make beer batter, whisk together beer, flour, paprika and garlic until well blended.
  2. Let stand at least 2 hours.

Per order[edit]

  1. Peel and cut half an avocado into 6 wedges.
  2. Dredge each wedge in reserved beer batter.
  3. Deep fry in 375°F oil until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  4. Drain well; season with salt.
  5. Serve with ¼ cup salsa.
