Black Jack Bar-B-Q Sauce[edit]

  1. Stem and seed peppers.
  2. Measure whole before chopping.
  3. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes.
  4. Strain or puree.
  5. Refrigerate.

Ribs[edit]

  1. Place ribs in a flat pan or dish. Pour sauce over ribs, turning to coat all over.
  2. Pierce meat with a fork. Marinate for 8 hours, turning once.
  3. Remove ribs from marinade and brush off excess sauce.
  4. Broil or grill over coals for 10 minutes.
  5. Brush with marinade and cook for 4 to 5 minutes more.
  6. Heat some sauce and serve with ribs.
  7. May be cooked in 350°F oven for 1½ hours.
