Candied Sweet Potato Balls

Ingredients

• 4 – 6 large sweet potatoes
• 1 oz. butter (salt) margarine
• ½ cup sugar
• ¼ cup water

Procedures

1. Boil sweet potatoes in salted water.
2. Cool.
3. Scoop the cooked potatoes into balls; arrange in a greased shallow baking dish so that there will be only one layer.
4. Make syrup with the sugar and water.
5. Pour the syrup over the potatoes.
