Cherry Compote

Description

In Romanian: Compot de cirese

Ingredients

• 2 lbs / 1 kg cherries
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• water to cover
• a little vanilla stick

Procedures

1. Wash the cherries and place in a pot.
2. Add the sugar, vanilla and water to cover.
3. Let boil for a little while.
4. Serve cold.
