Cocoanut Macaroons

Ingredients

• 3 egg whites
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ pound prepared shredded cocoanut
• a few grains salt

Procedures

1. First beat the whites.
2. Beat in the Sugar, adding it a little at a time
3. Beat very stiff
4. Stir in the cocoanut, and form into little balls the size of walnuts.
5. Bake on an oiled pan in a slow oven till lightly browned.
