Country-style Pork Shoulder
Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Mclean Estate in Irving, Texas in 1982. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]
Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon sage
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 5 pounds pork shoulder
Procedures
- In small bowl mix all spices then rub on surface of shoulder and roast on rack in shallow pan at 325°F for 4 hours.
