Crab Salad in a Half-shell

  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend together crab meat, diced avocado sprinkled with 1 tablespoon lime juice, , green onion, dill and mayonnaise.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Prepare avocado half shells.
  5. Generously drizzle with 3 tablespoons lime juice to prevent browning and to enhance flavor.
  6. Arrange lettuce leaves on individual salad plates.
  7. Place avocado half shell on lettuce, fill with crab mixture.
  8. Serve.
